Independent Review into the Loan Charge policy

Members will be aware that last week (Sept 11th, 2019) the Chancellor has commissioned an independent review of the Loan Charge, which will be led by Sir Amyas Morse, former Comptroller and Audit General and Chief Executive of the National Audit Office.

We recognise this is a very emotive topic, and some members have been on the receiving end of abuse on social media and other platforms as a result of this Government/Ministerial policy.
