How to get help and advice from ARC

ARC is there when you need help. As well as negotiating on behalf of our members as a whole, or specific groups of members, we have a successful track record in providing members with highly personalised and quality representation when they run into problems at work.

Problems faced by ARC members may include:

  • bullying and harassment
  • performance management
  • promotion
  • disciplinary issues
  • contractual disputes
  • internet-related allegations
  • relocation
  • discrimination (gender, race, disability or sexual orientation)
  • redundancy
  • professional or ethical issues

On this website, you can browse articles and posts with advice for members on handling problems at work and on how major developments in HMRC might affect you. We have a huge archive of articles still to upload to the site and hope this will grow into a comprehensive resource for all ARC members.

If you need immediate help with an individual problem you can also complete a simple form to request support from an ARC caseworker.

You can also read more about how ARC’s personal casework service works.
