Andy Nixon
Committee member since 2016.
Andy joined the Inland Revenue in 1999 after previous careers as a biochemistry researcher and chemistry teacher. He is currently based in LB Glasgow as CT Planning Specialist for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Andy rejoined committee in May this year (his third stint on committee). He has been an AIT/USRO/ARC member since joining the department. He has been a personal caseworker since 2006, specialising in the issues around long-term sickness. Andy also acts as committee rep for Edinburgh Centre and liaison with LB.
Andy has coauthored two books: The Psychology of Perfumery and The Complete Beginner’s Banjo Book, one of which has sold over 100 copies.
